Wheeling’s first public park has provided recreation, relaxation and entertainment for people of all ages since 1925. Wheeling residents have long enjoyed this 406-acre playground, and in the last several years more and more visitors have discovered that Wheeling Park is a terrific day-use facility. Facilities include golf, pedal boating, indoor and outdoor tennis, outdoor pool and waterslide, ice skating, playground, picnic sites and shelters, and the White Palace with a restaurant and banquet hall.
